| Mutai Win 2011 ING NYC Marathon
Mary Keitany took a young lead while in the race, sometimes much more than two minutes prior to a lead pack on the woman's race. As her debut marathon, many wondered if she would definitely be capable of hold anywhere near this much to a lead. However, because miles progressed, she looked strong and able.
