A north sider, his passion for running started in the late 70s whilst ran for Gordon Tech thereafter he walked onto Indiana University's cross country team. After college Paul landed an occupation at Murphy's Fit (remember on Clark near Century City Mall?), that is where I got myself my first racing flats. Throughout his tenure as manager around the original Active Endeavors (on Armitage below the L tracks) he started the Active Endeavors Racing Team. Which were my first experience with racing to have a team plus it really helped improve my times and also for a person who never ran track in high school or college, it absolutely was a thrill to become aspect of a teamwith cool uniforms.
Paul left retail to adhere to the love for shoes and have become a nearby rep for adidas. In 1999 he left adidas and opened Universal Sole in West Lakeview (on Paulina near Lincoln Ave/Roscoe).
